Faculty Positions broadly-based in Infectious Diseases, Comparative Medicine, and/or Genomics.

The Department of Veterinary Pathobiology at the University of Missouri is recruiting for four tenure track faculty positions. The successful candidates will develop competitive, independent research programs in their chosen field and contribute to the teaching of veterinary medical students, graduate students, or Laboratory Animal Medicine post-DVM fellows. We are seeking scientists to complement our existing strengths in infectious diseases, vector-borne diseases, genomics, and comparative medicine.  An exceptionally strong research environment that includes colleges of veterinary medicine, medicine and agriculture on the same campus  with three NIH-funded animal resource centers provides a unique opportunity to conduct interdisciplinary research.  A 38,000 gross sq. ft. biocontainment laboratory and vivarium facility with an aerosol infection and flow cytometry suites is available to support research.
